about:
This site sensitive work was produced for the Harbour Scupture Prize, Hunters Hill, NSW. According to NSW Government studies, the likely median sea level rise in the next one hundred years is around 80cm. Remincent of an upturned hull or a wave form, this work disrupts its location along the foreshore to the predicted high water mark. The work glows at night, both as a safety feature and to highlight the elusive nature of predicting and ameliorating unforseen and destructive consequences of climate change.
